Cosy camping cabins on Als
At Augustenhof Strand Camping, we welcome you to some of the cosiest camping cabins in Southern Jutland. Here you get a comfortable base for your holiday, where both families and couples can enjoy camping life in peaceful surroundings on Als.
All our cabins are fully equipped and furnished according to the number of guests they are intended for. The cabins include, among other things:
- Kitchenware for the stated number of guests
- Coffee machine and refrigerator
- Covered terrace at all cabins
The covered terrace allows you to enjoy long summer evenings outdoors, even when the evening dew sets in and the children are sleeping safely inside.
We offer both camping cabins for 2 people and family cabins accommodating up to 6 people, so there is a suitable option whether you are travelling as a couple or as a family.

Pillows and duvets must be brought along, but they can also be rented at the campsite.
Arrival and departure
Our camping cabins are ready from 2:00 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated no later than 11:00 am on the day of departure.
- Arrival later than 6:00 pm must be notified in advance
- Without prior notice, we reserve the right to re-let the cabin
The cabin must be left in the same clean condition as upon arrival. Final cleaning can be booked at reception upon arrival against prepayment.
Final cleaning does not include dishwashing, which must be cleaned and put back in the cupboards.
Any defects or deficiencies must be reported to reception immediately upon arrival.
The price of the cabin rental does not include electricity consumption.
Practical information
- The cabin must be left clean no later than 11:00 am
- Duvets, pillows and bed linen must be brought along or can be rented at reception
- The cabins do not have a private bathroom or toilet
- Small kitchenette with refrigerator and kitchenware in the cabin
- Large shared kitchen located approximately 25 metres from the cabins
Cancellation terms
- Cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival will be refunded in full, minus a cancellation fee of DKK 400.00
- Cancellations made between 30 and 14 days before arrival will be refunded 50% of the stay price (the cancellation fee of DKK 400.00 is non-refundable)
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before arrival are not eligible for a refund

Where are the cabins located?
The cabins are located at Augustenhof Strand Camping near Nordborg on Als, approximately 30 km from Sønderborg. Here you stay close to nature and the beach in peaceful surroundings.

We offer both smaller camping cabins for 2 people and larger family cabins with space for up to 6 people.
Are the cabins suitable for families?
Yes. The cabins are suitable for families who want fixed surroundings, peaceful conditions and easy access to nature, the beach and shared facilities at the campsite.
Are dogs allowed in the cabins?
Dogs are allowed in selected cabins. Please contact the campsite before booking to learn more about availability and conditions.
Do the cabins have a bathroom and toilet?
The cabins do not have a private bathroom or toilet. You have access to the campsite’s shared facilities, and a large communal kitchen is located approximately 25 metres from the cabins.
What do you need to bring yourself?
You must bring your own duvets, pillows and bed linen. These can also be rented at the campsite reception.
